It is situated next to a designated nature reserve, which includes: – an 8-hectare departmental park housing Maubuisson Abbey (13th century) – a green corridor covering some 60 hectares which, stretching from the banks of the Oise to the eastern boundary of the municipality, offers a walking trail several kilometres long running alongside the Ru de Liesse and a series of ponds. The facilities include: A compact 9-hole course with a total length of 675 m, featuring holes ranging from 53 m to 102 m in length; a driving range with 34 tees, 12 of which are covered; a practice green; and two approach areas. The St Ouen l’Aumône golf course has been designed and conceived to: enable beginners to discover the game through tailored introductory coaching in a friendly atmosphere, and to help all those wishing to progress from the introductory stage to playing the course to improve their skills. The course’s dimensions make it easier to achieve a 1st-class handicap. It also allows skilled players to train, improving their technique on the practice areas, the effectiveness of their short game on the course, and becoming accustomed to achieving a good score. The driving range has 34 bays, 12 of which are covered. It allows players to practise hitting balls from 50 metres to 200 metres. This long-game area is fun and user-friendly, with distance markers and targets. You will also find two approach areas and a putting green. The site is ideally designed for everyone to learn golf.
