Gaillon Golf Club, situated on the edge of Normandy, was established in 1988 through private initiative. Originally a small, highly technical 9-hole course designed by Didier Fruchet, it has been redesigned and transformed into a more open and accessible 9-hole course. It is particularly well-suited to welcoming beginners in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.Set on heathland, this 9-hole course features 48 bunkers and is open all year round thanks to its well-drained soil, just an hour from Paris. Facilities at Golf de Gaillon Golf de Gaillon is also the ideal place to practise and improve your game. You’ll find a large, floodlit driving range for winter training, with 15 covered bays. You’ll also have access to a putting green and an approach area with two bunkers – everything you need to become a golf expert. The club also emphasises professional coaching through individual or group lessons focusing on swing mechanics, for example, as well as courses. It also has a golf school for children aged 4 to 18, offering ‘baby golf’ lessons for 4- to 5-year-olds, ‘youth’ lessons for 6- to 18-year-olds, and an ‘elite’ course for experienced and selected young players.Eating out at Golf de GaillonAfter all that effort, it’s time for some comfort, which you’ll find at the Brasserie du Bosc. Located right in the heart of Golf de Gaillon, this restaurant welcomes golfers every day with a menu that changes daily. You can enjoy delicious fresh produce right on the terrace overlooking the final green. The brasserie also offers a touch of originality: craft beers brewed on site, perfect for unwinding after a day on the green. You can sample four beers: a wheat beer, a lager, an amber ale and a stout, all inspired by the region’s expertise.
