Presentation of the golf course Golf Club du Roncemay
Take out your irons! In Burgundy, not far from Auxerre, discover an 18-hole golf course whose course extends around the castle domain, taking you through forests, woods and green plateau.Created in 1989 by Jean Garaïalde, international golfer, and Jeremy Pern, designer of many international golf courses, the Domaine du Roncemay Golf Club enjoys a majestic setting for sports and nature lovers. Its 6,219-meter course crosses a forest of centuries-old oaks, beeches and birches, and opens onto a vast plateau modeled and colored like Scottish links. Two parts make up this International Golf 18 holes: 11 holes run through the forest, while 7 holes are on the plateau with rugged terrain and overlooking the icaunaise countryside. Golf selective, but playable by golfers any level, it requires some attention to putting on greens very large and very modeled.A very wide covered practice of 12 posts and 40 posts on grass, a putting green, a pitch and putt complete the facilities. Another asset of the Domaine du Roncemay, a training course of 3 holes for all those who wish to learn to practice golf.
