"It was at the beginning of the 22nd century that a hermit by the name of Gaultier and his disciples founded a priory, which became an abbey before welcoming Robert Surcouf, the famous intrepid corsair from Saint-Malo, during his hunting trips.

In 1986, the Saint-Malo Golf Resort was born, under the design of the architect Hubert Chesneau, who knew how to combine massive granite, trees and nature, with a varied and sporty design, on a 100 hectare estate.

The Saint-Malo Golf Resort was inaugurated in 2003 around the Club House, respecting the architecture of the former priory, with wooden beams and exposed stones, in order to keep the 19th century "manor" spirit.
