Lofoten Golf Links

There are few, if any, places where a golfer is as tested by the elements as at Lofoten Links.  Built into a rugged landscape, Lofoten Links combines its wild and wonderful surroundings with a world-class golf course. Lofoten Links is located above the Arctic Circle on the Lofoten Islands, making it the most northerly course in the world. Nestled along the north coast of the island of Gimsøy, our guests experience true links golf.  Whether by the sea or inland, you'll always enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and seascapes.

In 2023, we were ranked 88th in the world by Golf Magazine and 5th in continental Europe by Golf World, and for good reason.  From late May to mid-July, the sun never sets.  So our guests can experience the phenomenon of the midnight sun by playing golf 24 hours a day.  It's a special time when night can't chase you off the course. But when night returns at the end of August, our guests can play golf during the day and watch the Northern Lights at night.

They can stay in one of our exclusive Lofoten Links lodges, just 1 km from the course, and when they need delicious local cuisine, they can eat in our cosy, rustic Låven restaurant.
