Golf Vichy Forêt De Montpensier

Opened since 1993 in the town of Serbannes, the "inland" course of the Vichy-Forêt de Montpensier golf course is a superb 18-hole course nestled in the heart of the Bourbon Territory and the historic domain of the Forêt de Montpensier.

A true haven of peace in the heart of a preserved natural environment, the golf course combines the advantages of being only a few minutes away from motorway access, accommodation and entertainment in the centre of Vichy, with the serenity of a course rich in authentic natural flora and abundant wildlife. Designed by the architects James Engh and Thierry Sprecher, the course, which is open all year round, is subtly laid out in the middle of a magnificent forest of hundred-year-old oaks. If the slightly undulating fairways seem generous, the permanent presence of the forest, a few water obstacles and numerous streams force you to drive with precision and to lift the ball well when attacking the greens. From the back tees, the course has earned a justified reputation. From the advanced tee boxes, the course becomes a pleasant challenge that gives the golfer the time to enjoy the frequent encounters with the wildlife that populates the surroundings of the course.
