Presentation of the golf course Golf de Wimereux
Created in 1901, the Golf of Wimereux was rebuilt by two British architects, Campbell and Hutchinson, after the First World War. It has had brilliant international encounters, and all the players considered this course as equal to the best "seaside" links across the Channel. The golf course is a Scottish-style links on the seaside that has retained its wild character. Its undulating course, with wide fairways and excellent quality greens, satisfies the most demanding golfers. 25 kms from Calais and a few kms from the A16 motorway, the course stretches between the sea, the Boulonnais countryside and the Ambleteuse dunes. Depending on the holes, one discovers a picturesque landscape, the traffic of the Channel and the white British cliffs.
